The Guelph Tool Library announced on Tuesday that it launched a podcast featuring guests from a range of disciplines sharing their takes on lifestyle experiences and how they are keeping connected amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Named after the organization’s mascot, The Crow’s Nest will take listeners through the overarching theme of COVID-19 “and its effects on people’s lives and industries, as well as the positive interactions and community rallying that has come out during the pandemic,” according to a release.
Three episodes came out last Friday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify Podcasts, and Substack.
The Tool Library is a non-profit that allows residents to rent equipment but it has been impacted by the pandemic, like many other Guelph businesses. Because of the physical distancing requirements, the organization has prioritized digital programming.
“Launching this podcast has been a goal of the Guelph Tool Library for some time, as we work to stay connected to our community in unique and exciting ways,” Sustainability Coordinator Stephanie Clarke said in the release.
“We look forward to the stories, memories, and new ideas our guests and listeners share with us.”
