Several Guelph south end banks vandalized

Six banks were hit overnight Saturday.

Six banks in Guelph’s south end were vandalized with grafitti over the weekend, police discovered on Sunday morning.

The graffiti is of a similar nature but police said in a Monday morning release that the vandalism is not a hate crime. An investigation is ongoing.

The banks are located near the intersections of Kortright Road West and Edinburgh Road South, Clair Road and Gordon Street and Gordon Street at Kortright Road West.

Residents with information are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Philip Perrins at (519) 824-1212 ext. 7336, email him at or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
