Police intercepted the trio just after 11 p.m. in front of a store near the intersection of London Street West and Woolwich Street, a release on Monday said.

The officers noticed a backpack and a clear plastic bag containing 5.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine where they were standing in front of the store.

Police moved to arrest two of them, with a search of one of the men revealing a small clear bag containing 0.15 grams of crack cocaine.

The male who fled was found in a vehicle located near the intersection of Dufferin Street and Pipe Street a few minutes before midnight and was subsequently arrested.

All three will appear in court Aug. 14 this summer.
